After You Die, Have Your Ashes Pressed Into A Vinyl Album of Your Favorite Songs
It’s music from beyond the grave. It’s the soundtrack of your life, after death. A company has come up with the idea of pressing your ashes after you die, into a vinyl record album.
The company is called And Vinyly. Your ashes are delivered to a pressing plant and sprinkled into raw vinyl. You’ll get 24 minutes of music, 12 minutes on each side. You don’t have to have a song on the album. According to the website, you can record a personal message or your last will and testament.
This isn’t just for humans either. You can have the ashes of your favorite pet pressed.
The website boasts, “When the album that is life finally reaches the end, wouldn’t it be nice to keep that record spinning for eternity?”
Of course, this isn’t cheap. The basic package of 30 discs costs $3,000.
