UPDATE - 10:45AM Friday, February 13, 2015: Lincoln County Sheriff Dennis Johnson reveals the names of the parties involved in the ProTech shooting in Lennox.

52-year old Jeffrey DeZeeuw of Sioux Falls was positively identified as the shooter. His body was found at the burned semi-truck southwest of Lennox. Dental records were used to confirm DeZeeuw's identity.

Sheriff Johnson says according to their investigation, DeZeeuw initially got into an argument with 45-year old Jon Richter of Lennox around 9:30 Thursday morning. DeZeeuw left the ProTech facility thereafter and returned at approximately 2:00PM. At that time DeZeeuw shot and killed Richter.

Next, DeZeeuw shot and wounded 46-year old Kathy Steever of Lennox. The gun shot wound to Steever necessitated a flight to a Sioux Falls hospital via helicopter.

After the second shooting, 45-year old Brian Roesler of Marion confronted DeZeeuw and attempted to get the gun away. Sheriff Johnson says Roesler was struck in the head several times during the fight. Roesler was treated and released for his injuries.

Many facets of the investigation continue as the Lennox Police Department, Tea Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff, South Dakota Highway Patrol and South Dakota's Division of Criminal Investigation look into the incident.
