PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The Aberdeen Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff's Office have been awarded a $12,500 grant for a vehicle and surveillance equipment to be used in drug investigations.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the money comes from a fund that contains money seized during drug arrests.

Jackley says the money will help the Aberdeen Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff's Office in drug control and the apprehension of drug offenders.
