A Single Parent says the Faith Temple Food Giveaway is a Miracle!

Five years ago, Faith Temple Church in Sioux Falls kicked off a food giveaway!  Since then, over five million pounds of food have been distributed to thousands of residents in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.   One of them is 45 year old Joan.

"I have to tell you," Joan shares with me, "I just don't make enough money to purchase food for my two children and myself.  I was at my wits end!  Although I worked two jobs, I just didn't earn enough to buy what we needed.:"

But, that all changed when Joan heard about the Faith Temple Food Giveaway.

"At first, I thought the giveaway was a one time event.  Then, I found out Faith Temple was holding it once a week!  That for me was a miracle!  Now, I am able to get enough food for my family.  God Bless Faith Temple!"

Joan and hundreds of other struggling families will be participating in this Friday's Food Giveaway being held in the Johnson Nordstrom Building at the W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds beginning at 4 p.m.

No doubt about it!  The members of the Sioux Falls church are truly making a difference in the lives of hundreds of families in the Sioux Empire!
