A Popular Cereal Removed Its Mascot From Boxes

Due to commercial chemicals and climate change, bees have been dying at a rapid rate - up to 30 percent a year.  Bees are needed to pollinate fruits and vegetables. Bees spread seeds. Without bees, our food supply will shrink.

General Mills wants to help bring back the bees. BuzzBee is missing from the Honey Nut Cheerios box to bring awareness to the declining bee issue. Cheerios.com says that 1 in 3 bites of food we eat is made possible by bees and other pollinators and 70 out of the top 100 human food crops are pollinated by bees.
