Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says two males were arguing over a drug debt at Fifth Street and Sherman Avenue on Tuesday night.

"One of them punched the other. The other guy pulled out a gun and shot it a couple of times. The guy grabbed the gun and took off leaving the other male behind," explained Clemens. "Eventually, police were able to find both men and figure out that this happened because of a drug debt. Those two were taken into custody. A search warrant was served on one of the guy's home who had been supplying the drugs. About two pounds of synthetic marijuana, hash oil and about a half a pound of marijuana and about four thousand dollars in cash were found."

In another incident, Clemens says a domestic incident ended in an assault.

"A girlfriend that was having problems with her boyfriend went to an apartment in the 600 block of South Dakota Avenue. He ended up following the girlfriend and one of her friends. He managed to get into the apartment, but was forced out by the two females. But, he forced himself back in the apartment and was going after them when police arrived.:"

Clemens says the boyfriend faces burglary and assault charges.
