57th Street Construction Starts Monday

Starting Monday, September 21, 2015, you may want to avoid the area of 57th Street between Western Avenue and the tunnel under I-229.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Old Yankton Road and Old Yankton Circle to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs.

During rush hours two lanes will be provided for traffic in the peak direction. The closure will alternate between the eastbound and westbound lanes throughout the week. Drivers should remain alert to changing road conditions and slowed or stopped traffic near the work zone.

This work is expected to be complete in approximately five days.
