A win in the Entertainer of the Year category at the 2014 ACM Awards would solidify Miranda Lambert as one of the all-time great female vocalists. She's got a great batting average at the last three Academy of Country Music Awards, pocketing 10 of the 13 awards she was nominated for. The big honor has alluded her so far, however.

Over the last five years, Lambert has been country music's most consistent female. Her music has helped shape the genre, and few in the industry work harder on the road and in the writing and recording rooms to craft albums that leave a legacy. Like George Strait, Lambert's legacy may be considered by voters who choose her -- but to a lesser degree. The 2013 ACMs (when 'Over You' was at its peak) may have presented her best shot to date, but eventually, she's going to win an Entertainer of the Year trophy just because she should.

Another Female Vocalist of the Year trophy seems likely, giving her five straight wins in this category. No female has ever done that. Brad Paisley did it on the men's side before taking a CMA EOTY in 2010.

Below, you’ll find the highlights of Lambert’s Entertainer of the Year campaign. Fans can vote for their favorite at VoteACM.com until the third hour of the live CBS Broadcast on April 6.

The Music: The final three singles from Lambert's 'Four the Record' all played on the radio during the eligibility period. 'Fastest Girl in Town' and 'Mama's Broken Heart' reached the Top 5, while the edgy 'All Kinds of Kinds' hit Top 20. Lambert was nearing the end of promoting this record in 2013, although she did notch a Gold and Platinum hit.

The Tour: Lambert is a legitimate headliner -- something few females in country music can say. Her Locked and Reloaded Tour with Dierks Bentley was a summer highlight. A planned tour with the Pistol Annies fizzled out, with the songstress honoring those dates with solo shows.

The Intangibles: Lambert has been in the public eye as much as any other country female. A high-profile marriage to Blake Shelton keeps her at the top of mind, but she doesn't have any television or hosting roles to add to her year's resume. Of the group, Lambert may have the best music videos, including a Danica Patrick cameo and a wild script for 'Mama's Broken Heart.'
