    Saturday, October 8 - Carrie Underwood in Concert

    Carrie Underwood brings The Storyteller tour to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Saturday, October 8, 2016. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM. According to Ticketmaster, the show is sold out. Remember to keep checking Ticketmaster and also the venue box office to see if extra tickets become available. There is always a possibility a few tickets that were being held back will get released.

    Saturday, October 8 - Strawbale Winery Harvest Festival

    Come and celebrate the end of harvest with food, wine, games, live music, and fun at Strawbale Winery near Renner from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  The event is kid-friendly with a bean bag toss, pumpkin painting, pumpkin launching and more, so bring the whole family.  Free admission.

    Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9 - Pumpkin Festival

    At Riverview Christmas Tree Farm. Head south on Highway 11 to 276th Street and follow the signs. Featuring free inflatables, pumpkin painting, games, hay rides, petting zoo, craft vendors, beer garden, South Dakota wine, Riverview coffee, concessions, thousands of pumpkins and several TVs to watch the football games. 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Saturday and Noon-6:00 PM on Sunday. Free admission.

    Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9 - Showcase of Remodeled Homes

    If you have remodeling or building plans in the future this is a great event to check out. See how local remodelers have worked within existing constraints to produce new and vibrant living spaces.  Admission is $5 per person.  Children 2 and under are free. Tickets available at any home on the tour. The event runs from Noon-5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.

    Sunday, October 9 - Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

    Registration at 12:30 PM and the walk starts at 2:00 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown.  There will be music, refreshments and snacks, merchandise for sale, bounce house and more. Survivors can get their hair done, a chair massage and enjoy a cupcake.  Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

    Sunday, October 9 - Mutts in the Maze

    Noon-5:00 PM at the Yogi Bear Corn Maze, I-90 exit 402. Bring your furry, leashed pet to check out the corn maze. Adults $8 and kids 11 and under $5. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
