The thing he has found the most stressful is reading news. He is always scared his name will come up.

Patty has been in broadcasting for over 30 years too. She started when she was 8 years old.

She says the most stressful part of her job is getting out of bed at 3:00 AM and going home to get ready for work.

I've been in broadcasting for over 9 years - well over 9 years.  I was a little surprised to see that my occupation was on the list of the '10 Most Stressful Jobs.'

Sure my job can be stressful at times. For example, just this morning I got an e-mail from Dr. Oz that told me my time was running out to get my FREE BOTTLE of the HOLY GRAIL of weight loss pills. Boy, that was a close one!

How stressful is your job?  Is it on the list?  Should it be on the list?

According to a new study by CareerCast.com here are the '10 Most Stressful Jobs.' They looked at 11 different kinds of job demands that evoke stress, both physical AND mental.

  1. Firefighter.
  2. Member of the military.
  3. General in the military.
  4. Airline pilot.
  5. Police officer.
  6. Actor.
  7. Broadcaster - you're welcome, America.
  8. Event coordinator.
  9. Photojournalist.
  10. Newspaper reporter.

They also ranked the '10 LEAST Stressful Jobs' you can have. That's usually a combination of job security, a good hiring outlook, salary, and few physical demands or deadlines.  The 10 Least Stressful jobs are:

  1. Hair stylist
  2. Audiologist - which is someone who tests people's hearing
  3. University professor.  Specifically ones who have tenure
  4. Medical records technician
  5. Jeweler
  6. Medical laboratory technician
  7. Tailor
  8. Dietician
  9. Librarian
  10. Forklift operator
